Windham Hill proudly presents the musical companion to the two hour World Premiere, A&E Network television special Winter Solstice On Ice.

The host of winter Solstice On Ice, Jim Brickman takes you on musical journey as some of the top professional skaters in the world including Brian Boitano, Susanna Rahkamo & Petri Kokko, and Alexander Abt skate to the musical artistry of George Winston, Tuck & Patti, Samite, Peabo Bryson, Phil Perry, and many other Windham Hill favorites.

A snow castle just below the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland became the extraordinary location for the television and home video production. Nearly 100 people, from eight different countries came together to produce the experience of Winter Solstice On Ice - music artists, skaters, producers, technicians, ice sculptors, and specialists of all kinds assembled on the fringe of the Arctic Circle. They traveled out across the frozen sea on the world's only private icebreaker to achieve the final goal of going out to that edge on the horizon where it was hard to separate where the Earth stopped and the sky began, the moment when night becomes day and day becomes night. We put our hearts and souls into this year's Winter Solstice On Ice experience. Enjoy!
