Their lives are about to become an urban legend.

Charlie (Dan Futterman), who has recently lost control over his life, searches New York City for a mysterious stranger who holds the key to his recovery. Never completely sure of what is real and what is not as he experiences a series of alternately hilarious, touching and eerie encounters with the people he meets.
